No projected date for restoration of PATH service to Hoboken, other flooded stations
With sandbags, yellow caution tape and police barriers still preventing passengers from entering the Hoboken PATH station, officials are not yet providing a time line for the restoration of train service to the Mile Square City.

PATH service to World Trade Center to be restored Monday
Weekday PATH train service to the World Trade Center will be restored starting Monday, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced today.
So the entire system including the newly restored Christopher Street, WTC and Exchange Place stations, will still be running only 5 am until 10 pm to alllow for repairs to conitnue at night. And on weekends for an interim period, there will still be no WTC nor Exchange Place service, with the present operating pattern (Journal Square-33rd extended to Harrison and Newark) continuing. While the station reopenings are welcome, the system still does not adequately serve those working odd shifts -- a situation hopefully rectified once repairs are complete.

Service to the Hoboken PATH station should be restored in a matter of “weeks rather than months,” Stephen Kingsberry, the acting director of the Port Authority Trans Hudson said today during a tour of the once-flooded train tunnels.

Riders Petition For Restoration Of 24-Hour PATH Service
When PATH rail service was restored after superstorm Sandy, it was not to the entire system. Given the flooding, most people seem understand that.
But the service that was restored is only in operation from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and some riders have had it with limited service. They want 24-hour service.

PATH service returning to Hoboken Wednesday
Governor's Cuomo and Christie have announced that PATH rail service will resume at the Hoboken station with service to and from 33rd street beginning Wednesday at 5 a.m.
While every station will now have PATH back, remember that the system will still run 5 AM until 10 PM for a while, and that the Hoboken-WTC line still won't be running. Hoboken will only be connected with the New York City stations on the Midtown line, so one would need to transfer at Christopher Street, doglegging through the Hudson River tunnel, to access the rest of the system. On weekdays, it will be 3 of the 4 lines (HOB-33, JSQ-33, NWK-WTC), and on weekends they will run only NWK-33 and HOB-33, which leaves Exchange Place and World Trade Center unserved once more.
