I believe that most, if not all, who are taking Amtrak have made their reservations. If not, good luck as I had some sticker shock with the Crescent almost doubling in price from one weekend to the next. I will try to start the Amtrak accommodations charts this weekend, so please go ahead and start sending me (via e-mail) your Amtrak room assignments (or indicate coach if not in a room). There are 5 official Amtrak segments on this Fest: 19(11), 1(14), 1(16), 22(18), and 22(19).

Just as a matter of urgency, Steve's room on the NOL-HOS segment is in a Transition sleeper car, which tells me that this train is filling up fast.

Alan, you will have to give us a report on the new food service on the Lake Shore Limited.
Will do. But I'm not expecting anything impressive!
Take care and take trains!

I think you'll find yourself in Grand Central, not NYP .... unless you remain on the Lake Shore Limited to Springfield or Boston and take other trains back. The longer trip on the Lake Shore however might mean one more cold roast beef sandwich.
That's what I was expecting, but the reservation does say NYP; not NYG. So who knows?
As long as I end in NYC, I'll be happy. :lol

It appears that many of the NYG schedules were lo ARROW last night (May the fourth).

Thanks, Bill, for doing this. Crescent isn't looking too pretty, but maybe we can see improvement in May & June.
