Does anyone know if typically the consist protecting the #460 shuttle to Springfield will become the #463 shuttle to New Haven? Or might they pull another one out into service? I ask only because it's something to consider if we were more than 35 minutes late, and a new set is put into service as #463, we would miss it in Springfield. We could conceivably get off at Windsor or Windsor Locks, but these are totally outdoor stations subject to the elements. So as a backup bailout location I'd suggest Hartford if we find out that they change sets in SPG and we're not doing well on time.

they are 2 separate sets, at least were in May.

This is train 3267, 5:43 Long Branch express with connection to Bay Head. South Amboy is next. First and last cars are Quiet Cars. All tickets please.
