It may be a bit early to gather this information, but I will start.  

 

Based on information from weather.com, the forecast high, forecast low, general forecast and chance of precipitation as of 7/8/15 is as follows:

 

Pittsburgh, 7/15, 86, 66, am showers, 30%

Pittsburgh, 7/16, 86, 67, scattered thunderstorms, 50%

Chicago, 7/17, 82, 70, partly cloudy, 20%

St. Paul, 7/17, 87, 67, partly cloudy, 20%

St. Paul, 7/18, 85, 65, mostly sunny, 20%

No we're a week away, so it's that time.  I think more of a concern may be the tropical type rainstorms that I''ve endured here the past couple of days.  Temperature has not been overly oppressive, yet.

I would not sweat the scattered thunderstorms predictions; often these are just short late-day storms that happen when it is hot and humid all day.

I would not sweat the scattered thunderstorms predictions; often these are just short late-day storms that happen when it is hot and humid all day.

 

Based on those forecasts, this Floridian will not be doing much sweating.  I am looking forward to cooling off.  :lol:

Hate to use 2 T words, but western Pennsylvania had tornadoes a few days ago, Minnesota had some yesterday.  Chicago had severe thunderstorms this morning and is under watch throughout the day today.  Hopefully this will be over with before we get there.

The "H" word applies to Friday in Chicago. 90 degrees which is hot.

I will attest that the air conditioners on the Green Line in St. Paul were running very well last Sunday when it was hot and humid outside.
