New York Post, 2/1:

Amtrak conductor follows through on ‘sucker-punch’ threat

This train conductor is off the rails.

An Amtrak conductor who once tweeted about wanting to “sucker-punch a New Yorker in Penn Station,” did just that, a Virginia man claims.

Thomas Viles says he was waiting on the platform for a train last February when he was clocked from behind without warning.

This idiot needs to be fired and fired now.  There are always multiple sides to a story, but it does not look good for the conductor given his published sports rivalry vendetta.  That he apparently falsely reported his victim to police and thus had him removed from the train makes things worse.  In this case I am glad it turned out to  be a lawyer he chose to mess with!

He's mentally ill IMHO. It's shocking Amtrak allowed him to keep his job after he gave the dispatchers number to the passengers. That kind of distraction is dangerous.
