Beginning on Saturday, May 4, at 5:00 a.m., Light Rail will begin planned track work along the south end portion of the light rail system. All Light Rail stops between N. Linthicum and Glen Burnie/BWI airport including N. Linthicum, Linthicum, Ferndale, Glen Burnie, BWI Business District and BWI Airport will be CLOSED through Saturday, May 25 at 5:00 a.m.

Free shuttle bus service will be in place to transport riders between the affected stops. Riders should allow for extra travel time between these stops. During the stop closure, real-time shuttle information will be available. We appreciate your patience as we work to upgrade rail service.

MTA reminds riders that transit fare vending machines are cash only. To purchase fares with a credit or debit card, MTA encourages riders to download the free CharmPass mobile fare app at mta.maryland.gov/charmpass. Check the Transit app for up-to-date train arrival information and the MTA website mta.maryland.gov or social media @mtamaryland for service alerts.
