NY-1, 2/5/10:

It's unlikely given the forecast, but the Long Island Rail Road is prepared to halt service throughout the system tomorrow as part of its new policy for dealing with severe weather.

The railroad says it may shut down train service when 10 or more inches of snow falls on the tracks.
