Norfolk, VA. – Hampton Roads Transit will operate a Sunday schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in anticipation of a winter storm that is expected to significantly slow regional travel.
On the Southside the following routes will not operate:
Routes 5, 9, 12, 14, 18, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 36, 41, 43, 44, 47, 50, 57, 58, MAX 918, 919, 922 and 965. Limited service will be provided on Route 33 between 19thStreet/Pacific Avenue and 68th Street/Atlantic Ave.
On the Northside (Peninsula) the following routes will not operate:
Routes 64, 119, 121, Peninsula Commuter Service 403, 405, 412, 414, 415, 427, 430, MAX 965 and 967.
Normal light rail and ferry service will be provided. For schedule times of running service, visit gohrt.com.
HRT will resume regular daily service after personnel have had a chance to evaluate the condition of regional streets.
