Perth line to close for 18 months during $A 2bn extension

 

Around 20,000 passengers use the Armadale Line a day.

 

 

PERTH’s Armadale Line will close for 18 months from early 2023 to allow a $A 2bn ($US 1.44bn) expansion as part of the Metronet project.

 

The 129-year-old line, one of Perth’s oldest which runs southeast to Armadale, will be extended by 8km to a new station at Byford.  . . .
