South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 4/20/15:

Pedestrian hit, killed by train in Oakland Park

A pedestrian was struck and killed by an Amtrak train Monday evening when he stepped onto tracks in Oakland Park, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Story

This occurred one day after another person fouled the tracks in the same town in front of a TriRail train.

That's TWO in Florida today, How often does that happen??

This one is holding up TriRail service as well:

Attention Passengers: Due to an accident involving Amtrak south of the CYP Station, passengers can expect significant delays during this evening's commute. A bus bridge has been established between the Fort Lauderdale Airport Station and the Cypress Creek Station. We suggest customers seek alternate means of transportation and apologize for any inconvenience. Update to Follow.

TriRail removed the above alert without the promised "Update to Follow", so one can assume things are running once more.  Both delayed 91 and delayed 97, which were both involved in train-person incidents and were both delayed 4+ hours, both appear to be on the move one behind the other on the way to Miami, barring any more problems.
