Amtrak service advisory:

 

 

Palmetto, Carolinian and Silver Star Trains: Track Work Affects Service on Select Dates 

 

Effective February 9 - 18, 2016

 

Track work being performed by CSX Transportation will affect train service between Richmond and Savannah, on the dates and trains indicated below:

 

  Trains 89 and 90: Richmond - Savannah
Tuesday through Thursday, February 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18, 2016

Trains 89 and 90 will not operate between Richmond and Savannah on dates shown above, and alternate transportation will not be provided. Both trains will only operate between New York and Richmond only on these dates.

 

  Trains 79 and 80: New York - Raleigh
Tuesday through Thursday, February 16, 17 and 18, 2016

Trains 79 and 80 will not operate between New York and Raleigh on dates shown above, and alternate transportation will not be provided. Both trains will only operate between Raleigh and Charlotte on these dates.

 

  Train 92: Departs Earlier
Monday through Wednesday, February 15, 16 and 17, 2016

Train 92 will depart Miami at 9:10 am on dates shown above, two hours and forty minutes earlier at all stations through its arrival in Washington at 11:58 am. The train will continue operating on an earlier schedule through its arrival in New York at 4:20 pm.

Silver Star Train 92: Departs Earlier and Thruway Bus Schedule Changes Effective February 15, 16 and 17, 2016

Train 92 will depart Miami earlier at 9:10 am and depart two hours and forty minutes earlier at all stations through its arrival in Washington at 11:58 am. The train will continue operating on an earlier schedule through its arrival in New York at 4:20 pm.

 

To accommodate the earlier departure of times for Train 92, Thruway Buses 6292 and 6092 will depart earlier.
