Vic slow train crash driver 'fainted'
An empty passenger train crashed while being parked in Melbourne possibly because its driver fainted from thirst and hunger.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau on Thursday released a report on the slow-speed collision into a buffer stop at a rail siding in February 2019.

The driver told investigators they lost consciousness for a period of time before the collision, recalling entering the siding but having no other recollections until after impact.
A subsequent medical examination found the driver may have fainted due to dehydration and lack of nutrition.
