The Seattle Times, 3/15 (Late Post):

Mudslides halt Seattle-Everett commuter trains
Sunday's heavy rains caused several slides that mean Northline Sounder trains can't run until at least Tuesday evening.

BNSF Railway said Sunday it had interrupted freight and passenger traffic between Seattle and Everett due to mudslides resulting from heavy rainfall.

The railway hoped to have freight traffic running by midnight Sunday. Passenger traffic between Seattle and Everett, however, won’t resume until

Tuesday evening, as BNSF enacted a 48-hour suspension as a precaution while its teams check on the tracks.

Continue here.

So they only got 2 days of regular Sounder service (maybe 3 for Amtrak) in between the events (and following 48-hour bans).

No - my article was posted a week late (labeled "Late Post").  I posted it because BNSF also had to suspend freight service for a (short) period of time.  I've been searching for information on when freight service was reinstated.
