Amtrak Passenger Advisory:

 

Track Work Affects Weekend Service between San Diego, Solana Beach and Oceanside

 

Effective Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 20, 21 and 22, 2017

 

Track work being performed by North County Transit District will affect Pacific Surfliner service, on the dates shown below:

 

Friday, October 20

 

Trains 792 and 796 will operate normally to Oceanside, where bus service will be provided to Solana Beach, Old Town San Diego and downtown San Diego.

 

Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22
  • Trains 562, 565, 579 and 584 will be cancelled. Passengers can make reservations aboard other Amtrak trains.
  • Southbound Trains 564, 572, 580, 768, 774, 782, 792, 796, 1566 and 1588 will operate normally to Oceanside, where express bus service will be provided from Oceanside to Solana Beach, Old Town San Diego and downtown San Diego only.
  • Northbound Trains 573, 583, 591, 595, 763, 769, 777, 785, 1567 and 1761: The northbound trains shown will not operate from San Diego to Oceanside. Bus service will be provided for all trains (except Train 1761) from downtown San Diego to Oceanside and from Solana Beach to Oceanside only.
    • Upon arriving at Oceanside, passengers will board their respective trains. Note: Northbound buses will depart earlier than the corresponding train. Contact Amtrak for bus schedules.
    • Buses will not stop at Sorrento Valley, Encinitas, Carlsbad-Poinsettia or Carlsbad Village.
