    MassDOT Recommends Commuter Rail Extension To Bourne  

 

 

 

A study by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation recommends expansion of year-round, daily commuter rail service to Cape Cod. Extension of rail service to the Cape, the study suggests, would help efforts to combat climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions given a corresponding reduction in daily vehicle trips.
