Shore Line East Train Service Suspended Tuesday

NEW HAVEN, CT - Shore Line East rail is currently assessing damage from hurricane Sandy and has suspended service. (Tuesday, October 30th)

Update 10/31/12:

Shore Line East Train Service Still Suspended



NEW HAVEN, CT - Shore Line East rail is currently assessing damage from hurricane Sandy and has suspended service. It is unknown what the effects of the storm will be, and how long service will be suspended.



The safety of our passengers is our number one priority, and we will work vigilantly to restore service as soon as possible.
Please be aware that this is expected to be a lengthy process. Updates will be posted as new information becomes available.

Update 11/1/12:

Shore Line East Train Service Restored

NEW HAVEN, CT - Shore Line East Train Service NEW HAVEN, CT - Shore Line East train service will resume Thursday morning, November 1.



Please be aware no connections will be available west of New Haven. Some slight delays may be possible.



We appreciate your patience during this storm and recovery effort. Every effort was made to restore service as soon as safely possible.

I'm scratching my head, partially because you can't restore service that is already restored, and partially because I haven't showered in 6 days.

All Regular Shore Line East Train Service Restored

NEW HAVEN, CT - All regular Shore Line East Train service will be running Friday morning, November 2.
