Kevin, I ordered mine on 5/9/13 and it arrived today 5/13/13. Very quick turnaround.

Maybe it would have come even faster if you weren't turning around.

My SmarTrip® card arrived today. Got the minimum $10 card ($5 for the card and $5 fare loaded), and I can always add to it if needed once in Washington. It's not a bad idea, because those $1 surcharges on paper farecard trips will after 5 occasions exceed the $5 for the card. And some of us will be in Washington on Fests at least twice in the next 9 months. We still have over 2 months before the July Fest, so there's time to receive it by mail. Mine took roughly a week to arrive.

Just ordered mine. It will make life easier when I arrive WAS on 30 and want to make my legal sea food run. And it will benefit us when we do are ride on the 19th.

At least this is a good investment for those of us on the east coast who go to Washington a lot, even 2 or 3 times a year. You can always add value to the same card. And remember the Smart Trip® in Washington and the Charm Card in Baltimore are really one in the same and accepted with reciprocity.

That's a nice touch. On Chicago we are in the dark ages.
