SEPTA Hurricane Isabel Emergency Plans
There are numerous system-wide delays due primarily to downed trees. All bus routes in the city and suburbs are operating , but many have detours. R5 Paoli -Service has been suspended; R5 Doylestown -suspended between Lansdale and Doylestown; R6 - Cynwyd -suspended; Route 101 Media trolley - busing between Scenic Road and Media. Chester County CCT-Paratransit service for dialysis customers only. Shuttle buses are operating on the Route 11 trolley between 40th Street & Baltimore Avenue and 49th Street & Woodland Avenue.

The route 34 bus substitution is an on-going project related to track replacement on Baltimore Avenue, though you'd never know it from reading the current SEPTA page. <_<

That project actually ended around Labor Day. SEPTA may work on another section of Baltimore Ave. next summer, which will necessiate another bus-stitution. For now, normal trolley service is operating on the 34.
