Train wreck in Oklaunion sends emergency crews scrambling
The Wichita Falls Fire Department and crews from Sheppard Air Force Base were among emergency agencies sent to the scene of a train derailment Saturday morning near Oklaunion.
Preliminary reports indicated the accident is being treated as a hazmat situation and several pictures posted on social media show some train cars on fire.

Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Dan Buesing said several train cars of a Burlington Northern-Santa Fe train containing denatured alcohol derailed and three or four were on fire. Traffic on U.S. 287 has been redirected.
