Now that I've gotten myself into this three-in-one event, consequently the Participant Listings will have to be similar. So there will be a list for the PNW Lite event itself (from Sunday morning 7/18 upon arrival of Train #27(16) in Portland from Chicago) until Friday night 7/23 upon arrival of Train #517(23) in Seattle from Vancouver. There will also be separate lists for each of the westbound and eastbound Amtrak journeys. Along with participation we can include the accommodations that each will be riding in (and I'll do my colorful Excel spreadsheet as well to complement it). If you're taking a non-train mode of transportation to meet us or after you leave us, please indicate that as well.
In addition, i also do a Contacts Listing which has the same information as above, plus the chosen hotels, and cell phone numbers. Cell phone numbers are needed just in case of emergency, last minute plan changes, or if somebody misses a train (which probably qualifies as an emergency). They will only be posted on a document that remains on my hard drive but will be sent via e-mail only to other Fest particiapnts once the list is complete. It will not be posted on any website so that our personal information is kept secure.
If you have already indicated to me BY E-MAIL that you're coming and what trains you will be taking, you're all set. However if you have sent me a text message, a Tweet, a mention in the OTOL Chat sessions, etc. this is no good. I need E-mail, so I can keep everyone's plans in the same place and same medium.
Hopefully by next week with enough data, I can start the first version of the guest list.
