New FTA Newsletter: Transit Safety and Oversight Spotlight

 

The Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Office of Transit Safety and Oversight is pleased to announce the first issue of the Transit Safety and Oversight Spotlight, a new monthly newsletter about safety and oversight topics, events, training, and guidance that affect the public transportation industry.

 

In this issue learn about current status of FTA safety rulemakings, training opportunities, interesting statistics from the Office of Program Oversight and more.

November Issue of FTA Transit Safety and Oversight Spotlight Newsletter Now Available

 

FTA has released the November edition of the Transit Safety and Oversight Spotlight newsletter, which includes a look at FTA’s safety oversight of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, five reasons to take the FTA’s new Rail Nomenclature e-Learning course, upcoming Triennial and State Management Review Workshops, and other training and events.  

 

To help ensure that the TSO Spotlight continues to deliver news and information that matter to you, please complete a brief survey by November 30. Even if you have not read the newsletter previously, we encourage you to respond and let FTA know what safety and program oversight topics you want to know more about. The survey is anonymous and will only take a few minutes. Your participation and feedback are greatly appreciated.
