Amtrak alert as of 5:10 PM Monday 2/12/24 for service on Tuesday:

 

 

 

 

Modified Service Due to Impending Nor'easter 

February 12, 2024 05:10 PM

 

For the safety of Amtrak customers and employees, due to forecasted winter weather, select trains will operate on a modified schedule with no alternate transportation as follows:


Tuesday, February 13

Acela:

  • Trains 2163 & 2167 are canceled between Boston & New York.
  • Trains 2154 & 2162 are canceled between New York & Boston.

Northeast Regional

  • Train 190 is canceled in its entirety.
  • Trains 173 & 137 are canceled between Boston & New York.
  • Train 172 is canceled between New York & Boston.

Vermonter

  • Train 56 is canceled between New Haven & St. Albans.
     

Customers with reservations on trains that are being modified will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
