DART Rail Operations Suspended Due to Severe Weather, Buses Continue on Saturday Schedule, Effective Sun, Feb 14, 9 p.m.
For the safety of both our passengers and employees during the severe weather situation across North Texas, DART will suspend all rail operations beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Sun, Feb 14, through 11:59 p.m. on Wed, Feb 17. DART bus routes will continue to operate on a Saturday schedule.
DART is implementing Operating Scenario 2 of their Severe Winter Weather Operating Plans. All DART rail operations will be suspended, and DART bus routes will operate on normal Saturday schedules with limited service added on local routes 63 and 362. Dallas Streetcar will not operate at this time, but there will be a shuttle bus available.
DART will also run an additional 14 shuttle bus routes. The Operating Scenario 2 shuttle bus routes are available at DART.org/WinterWeather.
The following DART transit centers will be open beginning Monday, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., to keep passengers from the winter weather:
- Addison Transit Center
- Bernal/Singleton Transfer Location
- CBD West Transfer Center
- Cockrell Hill Transfer Location
- Downtown Garland Station
- Downtown Irving/Heritage Crossing Station
- Hampton Station
- Illinois Station
- J.B. Jackson, Jr. Transit Center
- Ledbetter Station
- Parker Road Station
- Red Bird Transit Center
- South Garland Transit Center
DART Paratransit will be operating Holiday service on Sunday, February 14 and Monday, February 15. This means all subscription trips will be canceled with the exception of dialysis service. Customers who need to book trips for Monday and Tuesday can contact reservations at (214) 515-7272 or through the web portal at www.dart.org/ridepara.
TRE will operate a Saturday schedule as the special Inclement Weather Schedule for Mon, Feb 15.
GoLink service will be unavailable through Wednesday, February 17.
