It's good on weekends only, and this is how it works: On a weekend day, four people can team together and pay a collective $29 for the 4-pack of tickets, which amounts to a DayPass good on Metrolink for just $7.50 per person! So where I showed on the chart that the two round trips would total you $31.50, now you can potentially save $24 off that amount. If we don't have an exact multiple of 4 along on the trip, somebody still ends up paying much more. But buying the Friends & Family 4-pack for $29 is still cheaper than $31.50 so you could still buy it and eat the extra tickets. Would you like fries with that?
