RTD considering a fare increase, eliminating free transfers
The Regional Transportation District is considering a fare hike.
Under the proposal, local bus and rail service would increase $.35 to $2.60 and monthly passes would increase $25 to $104 per month.

The Regional Transportation District of Denver (RTD) is exploring a series of changes to its fare system as a result of feedback from a series of public meetings held last fall, the agency announced in a blog post on its website.
