Automation for Walt Disney World? (02/12/13)

The Epcot loop will run counter clockwise from the Epcot Station through the park to the TTC. This will negate the chance of ever having to drive a train backwards through a switch, a situation which led to the 2009 tragic fatality of a 21-year-old driver.

Has Disney finally realized their monorails need a major update?

After a rough patch that included Monorail Red driving with the doors opena piece falling off Monorail Blue and nearly hitting guests, and Monorail Teal having numerous issues resulting in unprecedented downtime, it now looks like Disney leadership finally realizes how dire the monorail situation truly is.
