San Joaquins Service Changes

Effective May 13, 2024

 

Due to infrastructure work being performed, Amtrak’s San Joaquins service, Trains 711 and 718 will be adjusted. The service changes have been outlined below.

Southbound Train 718

Train 718, which normally operates from Oakland to Bakersfield, will now terminate at Fresno on May 13, May 20 and June 3.

 

Northbound Train 711

Train 711, which normally operates from Bakersfield to Oakland, will originate at Fresno on May 14, May 21 and June 4.

 

Alternate Transportation

• Bus 4318 will provide alternate transportation between Fresno and Bakersfield with an intermediate stop at Hanford on May 13, May 20 and June 3.
• Bus 4311 will provide alternate transportation between Bakersfield and Fresno with an intermediate stop at Hanford on May 14, May 21 and June 4.
• Alternate transportation will not be provided to or from Corcoran and Wasco.

Bus 5818, with an 11:59 pm scheduled departure from Bakersfield to San Diego, will be renumbered to Bus 5868 due to a new departure time after midnight, holding for Bus 4318.
