SunRail planning one-year anniversary celebration

 

SunRail turns 1 on Friday, May 1. That's when the region's first commuter rail started hauling passengers on 31 miles of tracks through three counties.

 

Opening day was a big deal, and SunRail is planning something to mark the occasion.

SunRail celebrates first year of service, looks ahead to expansion

 

The SunRail commuter train's first year of service saw highs and lows, including record ridership and delays from crashes.

 

SunRail began operations May 1, 2014, with two weeks of free trips.
