Can someone walk me through how to use the linking function?  All my efforts have been unsuccessful.  Thank you.

1.  Make sure that your enhanced editor is turned on.  The features at the top should be enabled. The one at the upper left corner that looks like a light switch is in fact a toggle switch that will alternately enable and disable the enhanced editor.

2.  Now make your post in the large white box.

3.  Highlight the piece of text you wish to want to contain the hyperlink.  For example, if you say "Here is the story", you can use the left click button of your mouse and its drag feature to highlight the word or words that will represent the link, in this case just the word "Here".

4. Now above on your enhanced editor, not quite halfway across the bottom row,  run your cursor over the features until you find one marked link. It looks like a small chain, underneath which is a white plus sign on a green circular background. Click this. It will open up a window asking you to insert a URL.

5. Leave that window for a moment. You should have the item you wish to link to open in another tab or window. Copy this URL using your editor or Control-C function.

6. Now go back to that open window on the tab or window where you are making the board post, and paste the URL using your editor or Control-V function into the URL box, and click OK.

7. Finally, make sure you click the POST button to submit your board post or response.  You should see the word or words you desired to link show up as a blue hyperlink.
