The Record, Hackensack, NJ, 12/19:
Police: North Jersey 'Conrail Boyz' gang busted;
10 accused of stealing from freight trains
Known as the “Conrail Boyz” Gang, they raided CSX and Norfolk Southern trains throughout North Jersey, stealing high-end clothing, designer shoes, watches, cologne, liquor and electronics — sometimes from moving trains, according to prosecutors.
The goods ended up in storage garages and other locations in Jersey City and North Bergen, including JRichard, a variety store in Paterson, authorities said.
Authorities said they dismantled the gang this week and arrested 10 people in connection with the ring, including men from Fairview and Cliffside Park, after an investigation that spanned nearly four months.
