Norfolk Southern closing Roanoke office building, relocating employees
ROANOKE, Va. -Norfolk Southern will close its Roanoke office building, the company announced on Tuesday.
About 500 people currently work in the Franklin Road building in marketing, accounting, information technology and other departments. Those employees can move to either Atlanta or Norfolk.
The company claims this is to streamline its management workforce.
