A few weeks ago, the baggage room closed due to ongoing renovation--seemingly replaced by a kiosk in the main waiting room. I didn't realize that a full service baggage room has been set up in an adjoining area. I discovered this today when I went to photograph the newly uncovered ceiling, seeing the light of day, so to speak, for the first time in nearly a half century. Just grimy, raw ceiling, no improvements made--that will happen in the upcoming months--but still in wonderfully ornate detail. Perhaps when I upload the pix later I'll break the rules and post one or two in this topic thread. In any event, I asked and they store luggage, so it WILL be possible for those staying downtown and uptown (lower Queen Anne) to leave your bags so that all can take Link to Sea-Tac at the same time, then retieve them and head out to the various hotels (I will be with). Hopefully that is one issue solved for the better.
