Thanks for sharing your pix, John. I'm glad you captured in one scene me wearing the Fort Smith Trolley Museum hat. Sloan

Great photos, John. Did anyone get a shot of the big snow mound in front of us on Train #460? That would say it all! To me, the highlight of our trip was plowing through there (and of course successfully!).

I'm such a sucker for good snow pictures. :D Awesome pictures, John. While I'm still not quite sure which portion of the Southeast Railfest I'm going to attend, I'm becoming still more eager for it. :D

Technicalities suck and legal name changes are a mess after it happens.

Pictures in the snow are forbidden at the next Fest. But then, it's July!

I'll consider this one "the gift that keeps on giving". $4.50 for a ticket all the way from Danbury to New Canaan is not a bad deal. That averages to $1.50 per trip since it takes 3 trains to do it. The reason it can be shared here is that only the Danbury Branch conductor punched it. The crews on the New Haven Line train from South Norwalk to Stamford and the outbound New Canaan Branch train never punched or lifted these tickets.
