Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab discussed on Monday 20/10/2014 a proposed project to establish a monorail between Cairo and the 6th of October City.

Monorail to be established in Egypt by 2018

CAIRO: A monorail train will be established to connect three cities in the Cairo metropolitan area, according to the Ministry of Housing Saturday.

The hanging train would be the first of its kind in Egypt, and will connect Cairo and Giza governorates to 6 of October City.

Text doesn't jibe with artistic rendering as the monorail depicted is not a "hanging train."
