I believe that several of us are planning to arrive in DC during the day on Friday.

Is anyone interested in getting together for dinner?  If so, do you want to go to a restaurant near Union Station or elsewhere?  What time is best?

I will be arriving in DC around 3PM and would like to check into my hotel before dinner.

I am interested in joining others for dinner.  I prefer a location near Union Station - earlier (5:30 or 6:00) rather than later because Friday nights tend to be crowded at restaurants.  I enjoy eating (and drinking) at The Dubliner, located a long block from Union Station.  Alternatively, there is a restaurant in the hotel where I (and several others) will be staying.

I'll be in Washington from mid-morning onwards on Friday, so I can be around for dinner with whoever is there.  From what I can put together of the individual plans I have heard of, it appears people are arriving at all different times.  I'm an early eater, so I won't hang around for everyone.  I enjoy eating but not drinking.   Perhaps food court option might be better with fewer people than Saturday.  Or, I would be willing to go to Largo on Blue/Silver Lines if anyone wishes to have steak at Longhorn.

Friday night dinner for mom & I will occur on our inbound Acela since we won't get in until 11PM; way too late to join any group for dinner.

Alan,

I get into IAD at 5:50pm, so should be in town by 8pm  I will probably catch some dinner on the way to the hotel, so won;t participate in a group dinner on Friday.

I might join a group for Friday dinner - so long as my commute back to Fairfax would not be excessively late.   The food court might work best.  A trip to Largo would have to be reasonably early to interest me.
