It may be a little early to be looking at forecasts, but I decided to do so anyway.

According to accuweather.com, the forecast, highs/lows for the listed cities on the listed days are as follows:

Seattle:

7/13: 83/62

7/14: 70/56  70/57

Portland:

7/14: 78/52 78/49

7/15:  85/56 85/48

LA:

7/16: 85/66 86/65

7/17: 84/65 83/64

7/18: 81/64

Chicago:

7/11: 88/65 86/73

7/20: 80/65

There was no precipitation forecast for any of the above, but then again, we are pretty far out.

These numbers look pretty darn good to me, especially after I just looked at home and saw that the forecast high in Orlando next Wednesday is 99 and the low is 79.

Edited 7/3 to update forecast numbers that have changed in the last 2 days.

As long as between those cities we don't have any hotter temperatures, we won't have to worry about heat restrictions.   :P

As the weather turned out, it was a bit chilly at our leg-stretch stops in Montana and North Dakota. And it was cool when we arrived this morning in Seattle. But by midday it had warmed up nicely into the 70's. Very comfortable.
