Norfolk, VA (Portlock) Facility Closing Due to Winter Storm Remus

Due to the effects of Winter Storm Remus, the Norfolk, VA (Portlock) Intermodal facility will close at 7:00pm EST today February 25^th, 2015. 

 

We anticipate re-opening the facility at 7:00am Friday, February 27^th.

Huntsville, AL Facility Closing Due to Winter Storm Remus

Due to the effects of Winter Storm Remus, the Huntsville, AL Intermodal facility will close at 4:00pm CST today February 25^th, 2015. 

 

We anticipate the facility will re-open at 6:00am Thursday,  February 26^th.

Expanded Gate Closure for Norfolk International Terminals

Feb 25, 2015

 

Due to the combination of high volumes, past and impending weather conditions, effective 06:00 Thursday February 26, Norfolk Southern will be amending its existing gate closure to include all loaded and empty containers billed to Norfolk International Terminals.  NS will continue to monitor the situation and will reopen the gates to this traffic as conditions warrant.  We appreciate your patience on this matter and apologize for any inconvenience.
