Amtrak Suspends Service in the Mid-Atlantic Region

Due to the winter storm forecast to impact Virginia, and North and South Carolina, Amtrak will suspend some services for Thursday, Feb. 26.Northeast Regional Train 174 between Norfolk, Va., and Richmond, Va., is cancelled. Northeast Regional Train 66 between Newport News, Va., and Richmond, Va., is cancelled. Northeast Regional Train 94 between Newport News, Va., and Washington, D.C., is cancelled. In addition, the Palmetto, which operates between New York City and Savannah, Ga., is cancelled.No alternate transportation will be provided for the services that are cancelled.Acela Express and Northeast Regional service between Washington, D.C., and Boston will operate on a normal schedule.Amtrak regrets any inconvenience.
