Track Work Affects Lincoln Service and Texas Eagle


Effective April 17 - 21, 2018

 

Due to track work being performed by Union Pacific Railroad, Lincoln and Texas Eagle Service will be affected on April 17 through 21, as follows:


 

Tuesday, April 17, Thursday, April 19 through Saturday, April 21
  • Train 303 will operate between Chicago and Bloomington-Normal, only. Alternate transportation will be provided to missed stops at Lincoln, Springfield, Carlinville, Alton and St. Louis.

  • Train 304 will operate between Bloomington-Normal and Chicago, only. Alternate transportation will be provided for missed stops at St. Louis, Alton, Carlinville, Springfield and Lincoln.

  • Train 21/321/421 will hold until 4:25 pm at Bloomington-Normal station for an open track.


Wednesday, April 18
  • Trains 301 and 303 will operate between Chicago and Bloomington-Normal, only. Alternate transportation will be provided for missed stops at Lincoln, Springfield, Carlinville, Alton and St. Louis.

  • Trains 302 and 304 will operate from Bloomington-Normal to Chicago, only. Alternate transportation will be provided for missed stops at St. Louis, Alton, Carlinville, Springfield and Lincoln.

  • Train 21/321/421 will hold until 4:25 pm at Bloomington-Normal station for an open track.


Alternate Transportation
  • St. Louis to Bloomington-Normal buses will operate 1 hour and 45 minutes earlier than the train schedule at St. Louis, Alton, Carlinville, Springfield and Lincoln.

  • Bloomington-Normal to St. Louis buses will operate later than the train schedule at Bloomington-Normal, Lincoln, Springfield, Carlinville and Alton.
