Railroad crossing crash in Buffalo

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - On March 20th, at 9:35 A.M. in Buffalo, ND, two vehicles were involved in a railroad crash. The railroad crossing is a BNSF crossing with both stop arms and lights.

A BNSF Ford F250 Rail pickup was going westbound on the BNSF main track.  . . .

The stop arms and lights on the tracks to notify traffic approaching were not down or on at the time of the crash. Usually BNSF high rail vehicles do not trigger the safety devices on the tracks.
