From Washington Association of Rail Passengers (WashARP), newsletter for February/March 2006:
WashARP members rode Amtrak's Cascades Service trains from the north and south to attend the organization's meeting and holiday party on December 10th. The event was held at the station.
Sound Transit's Sounder is now running three trains from Tacoma and two from Everett to Seattle Seahawks games. Even with those extra seats, there are still standees. The Seahawks specials set a new ridership record in 2005, carrying 1,267,973 passengers. That is an increase of 32.7% over 2004.
