Effective Saturdays and Sundays, August 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2012

On the weekend dates shown above, Union Pacific Railroad, in conjunction with the city of Sacramento, will be relocating tracks at the Sacramento station, affecting Capitol Corridor service between the Sacramento and Davis stations. Westbound Capitol Corridor Trains 723, 727, 733, 737, 741, 743, 745, 747, 749 and 751

Westbound passengers will board a motorcoach from Sacramento to Davis, where passengers continuing west may board the train to their destination.

Eastbound Capitol Corridor Trains 720, 724, 728, 732, 734, 736, 738, 744, 746 and 748

Eastbound passengers will detrain at Davis, and motorcoach service will be provided to Sacramento, where passengers continuing east may board the train to their destination.

Note: Trains 729 and 742 will operate as scheduled to and from all stations on the route.

Unaccompanied Minors (children 15 and younger): Please be aware that unaccompanied children will not be permitted to transfer between trains and motorcoaches, as specified in the Amtrak Unaccompanied Minor Policy.

Bicycle Advisory: Due to limited space aboard the motorcoach buses used for the bus bridge, Capitol Corridor strongly discourages cyclists from traveling with bicycles on affected trains between Sacramento and Davis August 4 - 5 and August 11 - 12, 2012.

Passengers traveling aboard Trains 723, 727, 729, 734 and 743 may encounter delays of up to 30 minutes.

Union Pacific Railroad, in conjunction with the City of Sacramento will be relocating tracks at the Sacramento station as part of the Sacramento Railyards project, affecting trains traveling between the Sacramento and Davis stations.

Eastbound Service

Trains 732, 734, 736, 738 and 742, which normally operate to Sacramento, will terminate at Davis, where passengers will be provided motorcoach service to Sacramento. Passengers continuing east may board train in Sacramento to Auburn and intermediate stations. Trains 744, 746 and 748 are scheduled to operate normally to Sacramento, but passengers may be provided motorcoach service from Davis to Sacramento, depending on the project progress. Motorcoaches may arrive at Sacramento up to 20 minutes later than the scheduled train arrival times.

Westbound Service

Trains 743, 745, 747, 749 and 751, which normally originate at Sacramento, will originate at Davis. Passengers will be provided motorcoach service from Sacramento to Davis, where they may board the train. Motorcoaches may arrive at Davis up to 20 minutes later than the scheduled train times.
