Now on my last Amtrak leg of this trip, a Keystone from New York to Philly. Made connection in NYP with no problem. Another tight one coming up in PHL to my NJT train.

97 arrived in Orlando more than 2 1/2 hours late. My very understanding ride picked me up. I am at home now, but need to run out and go to the grocery store.

And I got home 6:30 after a very lucky day of making all connections despite the late Boston departure.

449 arrived into chicago 3 and half hours late due to bad snow weather causing us to stand still for 2 hours then a cracked rail forcing us to go at 3 MPH. the areas between the cars were caked with snow and ice.

I had the caked snow in the vestibule, minus the three hour delay on my trip. That always adds a sense of adventure to the trip.

Wolverine 354 was delayed out of Chicago by 1 hour and 45 minutes first due to frozen switches then do to the train itself being frozen(no heat water or toilets). the toilets stopped working at some point I don't know when since I was sleeping but Im assuming the pipes froze. the vestibules were covered in ice and snow. The conductor had to shovel at each stop to open the door. Arrived into royal oak 2 hours and 2 minutes late.

Isn't this why they have in the past put Superliners on the Michigan routes?

Yes but since part of the line was upgraded to 110 they can't run superliners as they can't go 110.

Kevin, Perhaps this longer time on the train was a birthday present to you from Amtrak!!
Too bad about no toilets but I'm certain you managed the situation.

A little late but I took 2253 on Sunday to NYP. Victor Garber was sitting behind me. He was in Titanic and a few a other movies. I walked into the CA and saw Penny. Later my sister came to the station and I got her into the club. We waited awhile and we both hopped on NJT to Newark Airport. She was flying back to Pittsburgh, while I flew to DFW. I got her into the United Club at the airport as well using my S+ benefits. After a drink, I headed to my gate and she went to hers and we both got home later that evening.
