The three day Windy City Fest suggests another three day adventure; though several years in the future. In rough form the fest might consist of: Day 1: Amtrak from New York to Syracuse Overnight in Syracuse Day 2: On-Track from Syracuse to Binghamton Bus bridge from Binghamton to Scranton Visit Steamtown and Electric City Trolley Museum (Perhaps the trolley museum will have extended its line to Montage Ski Resort.) Overnight in Scranton Day 3: New Jersey Transit from Scranton to Hoboken Just a thought. B)

Alas, it looks like Scranton-Hoboken won't come about until 2008. Legislation authorizing casino gambling in the Poconos may advance that timetable. More gamblers, more money for Pennsylvania. PA Governor Ed Rendell sees slot machines as additional tax revenue source to ease state budget woes.
