MBTA/Weekend service disruption on Green Line "B", bridge work, bustitution Options

Green Line Bus Replacement – Saturday – May 5, 2012

Buses will replace Green Line trolleys between Blandford Street and Babcock Street on the B from the start of service through the end of service on Saturday, May 5. Buses will make stops at all stations between Blandford Street and Babcock Street.

Accessibility:

For customers traveling outbound towards Babcock Street, passengers requiring an accessible bus should see station personnel at Kenmore Station to request shuttle service. For customers traveling inbound towards Blandford Street, passengers requiring an accessible bus should see station personnel at Harvard Avenue to request Shuttle Service.

Why is this service change in place?

This service change will be in place to allow MBTA work crews to complete necessary track work in the area of the BU Bridge.
