BNSF: We’re back from Harvey

 

 

As railroads in the Southeast brace for Hurricane Irma’s projected landfall Sept. 11 on the east coast of Florida, BNSF Railway reports that its operations in southeastern Texas are back to normal, with residual delays.

 

BNSF has restored service on all of subdivisions impacted by Harvey in southeastern Texas. Trains are moving on the entire Longview Subdivision and the Silsbee Subdivision, between Beaumont and Silsbee, Tex. The main line connecting Beaumont and locations in Louisiana is also open to traffic.

 

“While service has been restored on nearly all affected rail lines, track and signal work continues in some locations,” BNSF said.  .  .  .
