Wednesday, the midpoint of our Fest, was a long and busy day in Dallas in which we did everything we set out to do. We remained on schedule throughout it, until the end where we finished early.

Our travels started with 7 of us taking the DART Orange Line to DFW Airport.  A rest room stop was scheduled here, and several partook, only to find that said restrooms are a very long walk away from the DART station. It's not like BWI Airport where the restrooms are literally just inside the building from the light rail station.  Two more joined us here, increasing our total to the maximum of 9 people we experienced most of the rest of the day.

Arriving back in downtown Dallas, we split up for an hour and sought lunch on our own near the West End or Ackard stations. Then shortly after 2 PM we resumed our travels, this time on the northwestern portion of the Green Line, as well as the DCTA A-Train that runs up from Carrollton (Trinity Mills) to Denton and back. On the return trip two participants left the group, and the remaining 7 who made it back to downtown had a steak dinner in the West End historic district.

Thursday will see us finish our Dallas itinerary including the eastern section of the DART Green Line, and the heritage and modern streetcar lines.
