PATCO news release:

DRPA/PATCO Conducts Public Opinion Survey

Online survey results to be incorporated into organizational strategic plan

CAMDEN, N.J.: The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) today announced plans to conduct a public opinion survey of PATCO riders and bridge commuters. The survey is designed to gain insight into ways in which the Authority can  better serve the needs of its customers and stakeholders, while improving organizational efficiencies. Input from the survey will be incorporated in the DRPA’s development of a five year strategic plan.

“Last year,  the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) & the Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) adopted a new mission statement, and set forth a bold and aspirational vision that supports the Authority’s highest organizational values: Stewardship, Service and Community,” said DRPA CEO John T. Hanson.  “Recently, the Authority initiated a new strategic planning process which is designed to ensure that we are in alignment with our mission and shared values. This public opinion survey is designed to help clarify our future direction, define priorities and help us realize our vision to be highly regarded as a world-class stewardship organization.”

The online survey only takes 3 minutes to complete and will allow the DRPA to gain input from our customers, stakeholders and the general public. The purpose of the survey is to develop an understanding of the perception of the agency and its services, and to identify ways in which we can better serve the needs of our riders and commuters.
