The new All India Time Table "Trains At a Glance", effective from September
1, 2004, has, for the first time, been published on the web site of the Ministry of Railways .
Public can access this site, which has the facility of search through
station index and train index also. Individual pages can also be printed as
per the requirement of individual traveller.
The electronic version of the "Trains At a Glance" has been developed with
in-house talent of Information Technology Directorate and Time Tabling
Directorate of the Railway Board in the Ministry of Railways.
Further enhancement of dissipation of Time Table information of all Zonal
Railways in detail has been planned and will be available soon.
This year, the annual All India Time Table "Trains At a Glance" has been
delayed by two months from the usual July 1 in view of delay in the
presentation of the Railway Budget 2004-2005 on July 6, 2004 following the
General Elections-2004 in May, 2004. This has incorporated new trains
announced in the Railway Budget.
