Woman dead after falling onto tracks, being hit by train

 

CARLISLE — A woman is dead after being hit by a train in Carlisle Saturday.

An investigation found that Jennifer Carswell, 42, of Germantown was walking west on Fairy Street along the railroad track when she lost her footing and fell. She was hit by a CSX train traveling on the tracks, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
